Overall, the textile sector is estimated to be responsible for more than 10% of global CO\u2082 emissions \u2014 more than the combined impact of air and maritime transport.<strong><br \/>___________________________________________<\/strong><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Only a small portion of this waste is actually recycled or regenerated, since mixed fiber compositions, dyes, and finishing treatments significantly complicate recovery processes.<\/strong><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color:
